    To benefit students I believe it is essential to have an indepth knowledge of a few ICT’s rather than, like you said superficial knowledge in an extensive amount. It’s again important that you understand how to use these in your key learning area in order to make lessons authentic and gain, but more importantly maintain students’ attention!

    I also visualise students using smartphones and Ipads etc to further their knowledge and skills. We all like to put on our optimistic cap and think that students will use these in an educational context at school, but lets face it, there will always be that student in the back of the class on YouTube or the group of girls who will taunt those in younger years via Facebook.
